Bundles

Bundles are a great way to get all the tools you need in one rental. Our printer bundles come with a full spool of filament and our plus bundles include a engineering ready computer loaded with cad and slicer software to get you up and running right away with little to no experience. Individual Rentals

Not everyone needs to bundle up! We also have an assortment of individual gear to keep your project on track, from the novice to the professional.

Not essential to a project but sometimes you just need some extra supplies to get things done. (Currently we are only selling filament with rentals due to restrictions on resale)

Do I need to have any experience using a 3D printer prior to renting?

No. If you can work a smart phone you can learn to operate a 3D printer. We will take you through all the steps needed to get you using a printer, and have training material to help you find answers if and when you get stuck along the way. Printing is a fun and cost effective way to bring your ideas to life. We encourage you to Think | Create | Innovate.

How much does it cost to print something?

Most common materials only cost about $0.02 a gram and an average print uses about 100g to 300g of material so most print average between $2 to $6 in cost.

I’m new to this what bundle should i pick?

The most forgiving material for beginners to start with is the PLA bundle, however with the Bambu printers any of the bundle plans are easy for beginners. If you have a specific application you are working on please reach out to us and we can help with material selection.

What software do i need to run a 3d printer?

The software that is used to compile files for printing on Bambu printers is Bambu Studio. The software is free and can be downloaded here. If you pick the plus bundle package, the computer provided will come loaded with the latest software to use.

Do I need to supply my own filament or printing material?

Yes you will need to provide your own filament unless purchasing filament with your rental or renting one of our bundles that comes with filament. You will need to purchase filament with a 1.75mm diameter. Find out more about filament here.

If i just want to find things to print where can i go?

If you are looking for fun ideas or files that are free to download and print you can find some on these sites, thingiverse, printables.

Is there anything I can’t print?

3D printing has many options, but the rule of thumb is if it is illegal to buy then it is also illegal to 3D print. We don’t promote the printing of illegal items, it is up to you as the end user to follow local laws and regulations.

Is there any maintenance while running a printer?

All of the printers that we rent are checked thoroughly between rentals and maintained and in good working order prior to any rental. If there is an issue during your rental please contact us right away to address any issues that come up.
